كتاب أحكمت آياته

Today while reading Surat Ar-rahmaan, I had a light bulb moment, while reading verses 7 to 9

(55:7) and He has raised up the heaven and has set a balance7 (55:8) that you may not transgress in the balance, (55:9) but weigh things equitably and skimp not in the balance.

In the tafseer of the verses the balance is explained as God setting guidance so that we are not left to our whims and judgment.

But I wondered what is the relation between the heaven and weighing things equitably. And subhanallah it occurred to me that there is a scientific precision in this verse in that the law of gravity is established in the separation between heaven and earth and when God raises the heavens he establishes this precision in balancing the scales. Truly this is a scripture whose verses have been perfected.

بينما أنا أقرأ سورة الرحمن اليوم انقدحت في ذهني فكرة تخص الآيات ٧ إلى ٩

وَالسَّمَاءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ 7 أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِي الْمِيزَانِ 8 وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ 9

وتساءلت ما العلاقة بين السماء والميزان والوزن بالقسط. فدهشت لهذا الإحكام العلمي إذ خطر ببالي أن قانون الجاذبية الذي ينتظم الكون. وبرتق السماوات والأرض وضع هذا الميزان في الكون ليصبح في مقدور الإنسان أن يكيل ويكتال بالقسط. وكما أن الله سبحانه وتعالى وضع ميزانا لتعاملاتنا البشرية بتعليم القرآن فقد وضع أيضا الموازين الكونية التي تصبح تطبيقات عملية للمفاهيم الأخلاقية.
